Very true that the Good News of the Lord we would preached has spread out not only in every public places anywhere in the Philippines and around the world, but to all people anywhere by using the means of communication like print media, radio, television, and, even, the social media – as well as multimedia.
Some religious groups were having their own media, as well as their social media.
Jesus Is Lord Church Worldwide headed by Bro. Eddie C. Villanueva has launched ZOE Broadcasting Network, Inc. (ZBN) in 1990s. It started the radio station DZJV 1458 kHz AM Radyo CALABARZON. Now, they operate 6-days a week from 9:00am to 5:00pm, but on March 4, 2019, it changed its hours of operation from 6:00am to 6:00pm and in July this year, DWZB 91.1 MHz FM is officially on-air in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. It launched a television station on April 19, 1998 as ZOE TV-11 with callsign DZOE-TV Channel 11 which is now blocktimed with GMA Network which aired as QTV on November 11, 2005 then later became GMA News TV until June 4, 2019 and it moved to UHF Channel 27 on the said date where the former has going to lowered until it signed off at 12:00mn. However, a year after off the air, Channel 11 went back on the air on June 22 as Light TV fed then four days after, it went into Christian blocktime as the network went to channel leasing, and following the reactivation of Channel 11 test broadcast in analog, ZOE also begun the digital test broadcast using UHF Channel 20 (509.143 MHz). In 2006, it moved to UHF Channel 33 with callsign DZOZ-TV (now DZOZ-DTV) as a college-hub channel UniversiTV which it launched on November 27, the same year, and it lasted on March 9, 2008, the following day, it went back as ZOE TV-33 which it had no programs can offer until surprisingly aired teleradio formatted news program and general entertainment program as ZTV 33 in the last quarter of the same year. On March 1, 2011, it launched as Light TV-33, then it rebranding as Light Network on March 31, 2014. On February 28, 2017, at exactly 10:00pm, Light Network Channel 33 will formally ended their analog transmission, in order to upgrade and migrate to full digital terrestrial television on the following day, March 1, 2017 (Ash Wednesday). On February 12, 2018, it changed back as Light TV. This time, it had slogan as God’s Channel of Blessings up to the same time.
The Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) also launched their radio and television networks in 1960s. The two networks under that church are Christian Era Broadcasting Service International, Inc. (CEBSI) operator of INC Radio DZEM 954 kHz AM, and GEM TV which is now INC TV on UHF Channel 48, it first aired on Channel 49 analog signal in 2005, then it later moved to DTT in 2017 together with Net 25. And Eagle Broadcasting Corporation (EBC) operator of DZEC 1062 kHz AM, DWDM 95.5 MHz FM, and Net 25 which is goes off-the-air on their analog UHF 25. They also had their own print media in 1930s.
The Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) has launched their own station End-Time Mission Broadcasting Service, Inc. (EMBS) in 2005 which operates DZAT 1512 kHz AM in Lucena City, Quezon and DWET 1179 kHz AM in Santiago City, Isabela in 2016 which branded as Life Radio. Then in 2016, it launched Life TV as 24/7 cable channel which is now seen on BEAM DTT-32.6 in 2017, but it moved to Channel 50 (689.143 MHz). And now, Life TV started their test broadcast on SkyCable Channel 44.
The Kingdom of Jesus Christ The Name Above Every Name based in Davao City has launched their own media network Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI). The operator of the seventeen (17) Sonshine Radio Stations nationwide, they also have their own TV station which is Sonshine TV Analog Channel 43 Davao City (DXAQ-TV) and Digital Channel 19 (DXAQ-DTV), and Sonshine TV Analog Channel 39 (DWAQ-TV) and Digital Channel 40 where it includes SMNI News Channel, an environment-friendly news channel on DTT.
Ang Dios Gugma Catholic Charismatic Community International based in Archdiocese of Jaro in Iloilo City has launched their own television channel which aired on cable and now on social media. And then, they have their own radio station DYSA 1053 kHz AM Ang Dios Gugma Radio.
The latest logo of Oras ng Himala Channel which currently aired on SkyCable Channel 114 and now on DTT Channel 29.02 24-hours daily.
The Jesus Is Our Shield Worldwide Ministries, an End-Time Christian Church founded and established by the Man of God from the Philippine Islands, God’s End-Time Prophet and Apostle Renato D. Carillo, also have their own channel four months ago on cable as Oras ng Himala Channel, the name after their radio and television program has broadcast 25 years ago. Since January 3, 2019, it had broadcasted on digital terrestrial television via RJTV DTT Channel 29.02 (563.143 MHz). And for two (2) months since October last year, the channel can be aired from the original 18-hours to 24-hours daily. Though, the program Oras ng Himala has continuously aired daily on the government-owned television station PTV Channel 4 and private media station One Media Network (formerly GNN).
The group of Baptist Church, Lighthouse Baptist Church has launched Great Commission Television (GCTV) which aired on Cignal Digital TV Broadcast which some of their shows were aired on Pop Life TV on BEAM DTT-32.01 (via any Digital TV Black Boxes), but it terminated its blocktiming on the 2nd quarter of 2020.
The Oasis of Love Catholic Charismatic Community in the Archdiocese of Cebu also launched Cebu Catholic Television Network (CCTN) in 2002 which aired on UHF Channel 47 with callsign DYCC-TV. The first Catholic Charismatic channel on Free TV headed by Oasis of Love Cebu Head Servant, Bro. Nonito “Dodong” Limchua.
The Members Church of God International operating UNTV 37, Radyo La Verdad 1350 (formerly DZXQ 1350 kHz AM), and Wish 1075 FM. And their own digital channel, Truth Channel. They also have their international UHF-TV channel which aired Spanish broadcast of Ang Dating Daan.

The El Shaddai DWXI Prayer Partners Fellowship International, a 34 year-old Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement in the Archdiocese of Manila, has launched Delta Broadcasting System, Inc. (DBS), operator of DWXI 1314 kHz AM (formerly DZSA 1230 kHz AM from 1968 to 1981) and UHF Channel 35 (DWDE-TV). The television channel of its own has aired their test broadcast in 2016 on analog, but it off-the-air in the middle of 2017. The date of its launch has not yet scheduled, even in full digital format. Eventually, the Philippine Congress composed of House of Representatives and the Senate of the Philippines intervened and pending the renewal of its legislative franchise for another 25 years, but on February 4, 2019, the Senate approved on third reading the House Bill 7199 or the franchise renewal of DBS for another twenty-five (25) years. On April 17, 2019, the Philippine chief executive signed Republic Act Number 11303 and it showed by the Malacañang Press to the media people two months after the President’s approval. This time, DBS has now focusing on the streaming of the Live Tuesday and Saturday Gawain via Prayer Partners YouTube channel, as well as posted its recorded broadcast on DBS YouTube channel, and the Live Healing Messages on DBS Facebook Page. And in the afternoon of Wednesday, October 30, 2019, the radio station DWXI 1314 kHz AM has now its teleradio streaming live at Delta Broadcasting System Inc. YouTube channel which can aired weekdays from 6:00am to 12:00mn, and from 5:00am to 1:00pm every Saturday, and soon, it can be aired 7-Days a Week on its YouTube channel, as well as on DBS Digital TV Channel 35’s sub-channel. However, it had its own publication, Bagong Liwanag Magazine which it published in 1985. But this time, due to the increasing of printing cost, Bagong Liwanag Magazine is now focusing on its Facebook Page.
In Archdiocese of Manila, it launched the Filipino Catholic Television Channel, TV Maria which aired on cable and DTH satellite providers, as well as on Facebook and YouTube, and their website. And soon, on digital terrestrial television, as TV Maria has finally granted its legislative franchise by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) in 2013, but on March 11, 2020, TV Maria is now on UHF DTV Channel 29.05 via Digital Terrestrial Television. Before TV Maria has born, it first operated DZRV Veritas 846 kHz, a Catholic radio station of the said Archdiocese. The Catholic Educational-owned, University of Santo Tomas also have their own radio and television UST Tiger Radio (formerly DZST 860kHz AM) and UST Tiger TV, which are now both on online broadcast. And recently, on February 14, 2018, the Ateneo-owned Radyo Katipunan 87.9 MHz FM, a Catholic University-owned FM radio of the media platform Jesuit Communications Foundation, Inc. has started their test broadcast on the said date which falls on Valentine’s Day and Ash Wednesday until it officially launched on the 3rd Quarter of 2018. Several Catholic Multimedia platforms (print, radio, television, and social media) are most probably under the CBCP Media of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines. These are including DWVM-FM 103.9 MHz well known as Spirit FM in Lucena City in the province of Quezon, DWBS 1008 kHz Radyo Veritas Legazpi City and its owned Catholic cable television Veritas TV, it also have Spirit FM Legazpi City, and other Catholic AM and FM Radio Stations and UHF TV and Cable TV channels.
In Parañaque City, Bible Believers Baptist Church International has now have their low-powered radio station named The Anchor 101.5 FM which is now aired 24/7. And it had also in Visayas area through other frequency on FM band. In Cavite, Good News Foundation, Inc. has aired their religious FM radio named CSFM 98.4.
In 2015, an Argentinian national Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Luciano Ariel Felloni, a Parish Priest of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Church in Camarin, Caloocan City, and now at Parokya ng Kristong Hari Dambana ng Kabataan in Commonwealth, Quezon City, under the Roman Catholic of the Diocese of Novaliches, has launched an online Daily Gospel broadcast on social media AlmuSalita which is marks on their 3rd Anniversary this coming December. Recently, it had its first printed book which is published and available at St. Pauls Stores nationwide.
In Central Luzon, particularly in Pampanga, a born again Christian had their own UBC Media Channel 12 (formerly Love Radio Network) where it aired the local and foreign religious programs such as Logos and One God, One Nation, and even entertainment and their current affairs program Cabalen, Mabuhay ka.
Years later, some of those groups were be able to broadcast their services weekly via Facebook like Dolous for Christ Church, The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community International, Soldier of Christ Catholic Charismatic Healing Community, among the others to proclaiming the living Word of God through social media networks like Facebook and YouTube.
In my service to God as Disciple Preacher of El Shaddai PFCC-GMA-TAPATPA, I must able to share every week the Sunday Gospel Reflection by using my cellphone where am I recorded my reflection of the Sunday Gospel not only on Sundays but also Mondays to Saturdays Gospel reflection to spreading out the Good News of our Lord and share to others.
